You've got decisions to make! This one-sheet brochure and resume will help your team arrive to the best decision for your event. (Hint: that would be me!)
Rachel has a background in theater, which rarely involved standing rooted to one spot for a monologue. Thus if your space can provide at least 2' - 3' of cubic space to move, your audience will appreciate the added dynamic.
Rachel is fairly tall at 5'7", so if your audience is seated throughout the room no one should have any trouble seeing her. If your event is more on the business side of business-casual, her patent red pumps will add even more height!
For audiences larger than 30, we recommend an elevated platform of 6" or more to ensure the audience can see from their respective seats.
Rachel drinks a ton of water (being from Colorado, it's a bit necessary). She typically travels with her own water bottle, so having a table or surface for her to easily grab a drink throughout the presentation will be a benefit.
Please arrange for Rachel to prepare her session thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Rachel's topics sometimes need visual support to demonstrate features and processes. If a presentation deck is called for, please provide a projector screen, LCD projector, and an HDMI cable connection.
Due to the internet-dependent topics Rachel teaches, providing access to strong wifi is key to a successful session.
Rachel will provide her own laptop and slide advancer. Please let her know if a room laptop should be used so she can package her presentation on a thumb drive for easy system access.
If the room is large and/or if the audience is greater than 30 attendees, please provide a microphone. Since Rachel tends to talk with her hands, a lavaliere or headset microphone will work best, though she can also function with a handheld.
Rachel's best friends are the tech/IT teams, and she looks forward to partnering with them for a great experience!
More light is better! Rachel is very expressive and works best with full light on her face. Additionally, dimmer lighting leads to droopy eyes through the audience, so ensuring adequate lighting is provided throughout the room is preferred.
Rachel will provide a PDF of the audience handout to you for mass printing. Please have them ready for her to distribute during the presentation; she prefers that they not be given to the audience at the beginning (i.e. underneath chairs) as inevitably they tend to distract from the content.
Air travel should be arranged to ensure Rachel's arrival at least two (2) hours prior to the arranged session preparation time. Flight reservations (aisle, no dietary restrictions, one checked bag
) are to be secured by you, the client, and should be billed directly to your organization or compensated in full to Rachel Moore should you be unable to arrange them.
The following information are frequent flyer numbers for Rachel Moore on specific airlines:
- United: SK096623
- Southwest: 20043883392
- Frontier: 90091788817
If Rachel is speaking prior to noon, please make every attempt to bring her in on the evening before (see Hotel). If Rachel is speaking after noon, she is amenable to flying early in the morning (5:00am or later).
Hotel room reservations (non-smoking
), preferably at the same hotel where the meeting is to be held, are to be secured by you, the client, guaranteed for late arrival, and should be billed directly to your organization.
Rachel will arrange and pay for her own ground transportation. Please ensure she is provided with the full agenda and appearance requirements from landing to lift-off so she can ensure attendance.
Per the agreement, please remember that 50% of the fee is due to lock in your date.
The remaining 50% is due two (2) weeks prior to Rachel's travel to your event. An invoice, including travel expenses and per diem, will be electronically transmitted thirty (30) days prior to scheduled travel.
Rachel, being a creature of social media, is just fine with the audience capturing images and video of her appearance. If you, the client, wish to implement a no-photography-no-video policy, please let Rachel know.
If you would like to photograph or video Rachel's appearance, please arrange to provide Rachel with a small sample of the images/video captured for cross-promotional purposes.
Rachel will prepare and bring a brief introduction statement to the event.
